PetroVietnam's subsidiary, PetroVietnam Power Corp recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Argentina-based IMPSA Group, one of the country's leading manufacturers of hydroelectricity and wind-fuelled equipments.

Under it, the two signatories will jointly carry out the wind power project in the central province of Binh Thuan and a study for building other offshore factories to supply electricity to Vietnam's islands.

For long-term, the two partners will cooperate to invest in Argentina or another country. In addition, IMPSA Group also pledged to help PetroVietnam join oil exploitation and exploratory projects in Argentina.
