PetroVietnam Drilling and Well Services Joint Stock Co (coded PVD) has revealed that the company has signed cooperation contract of supplying the PV Drilling 2 oil rig for 2009 drilling plan of Bach Dang Oil Drilling Management Co.
In the signed contract, the two parties agreed that after being delivered from the Singaporean derrick maker in Sep 2009, the PV Drilling 2 oil rig would be transported to Block 103 offshore Vietnam to conduct surveying work for Bach Dang Oil and Gas Co.
This is the first contract of the PV Drilling 2 oil rig. After finishing the assigned work of Bach Dang Co, the PV Drilling 2 oil rig will continue providing long-term drilling services for the joint venture of Vietsovpetro.
