Medusa shares soar before halt

Medusa Mining has entered a trading halt this afternoon pending a resource upgrade for its Co-O mine in the Philippines.

The miner's shares jumped 10 percent or 23 cents to $2.45 before it stopped trading.

The company said it expects to release the news by Friday.
