PetroVietnam Finance Joint Stock Co officials have met other funding organisations for the construction of a coke coal plant of Hoa Phat Energy Joint Stock Co on July 02 and has signed cooperation contract at Techcombank's head office.

The four funding organisations namely Techcombank, PVFC, OceanBank and the Chemical Joint Stock Finance Co would provide credit for the construction of the coke coal plant.

The main investor of this project is Hoa Phat Energy Joint Stock Co, under Hoa Phat group. The plant, with capacity of 350,000 tonnes per year, will be located in Hiep Son commune, Kinh Mon dist, Hai Duong province.

The coke coal plant will be built to meet the demands for coke coal mainly for Hoa Phat Group's steel mill and other factories in the region. In addition, the newly built coke coal plant will also help reduce the country's current situation of overbalance of import of coke coal and reinforce the development of domestic steel industry.
