Petrolimex earns 3.208tr dong profit after-tax in 2009

Vietnam Petroleum Corp (Petrolimex) last year reached total revenue of 105.306 trillion dong, equalling to 97.5 percent of the actualised figure of 2008, profit after-tax of 3.208 trillion dong and contributed 28.8 trillion dong to the state budget.

Among six business fields (petroleum, trading of petrochemical products, gas trading, shipping petroleum, finance, banking and real estate, service and commerce), Petrolimex's petroleum import reached 115 percent of the Industry and trade ministry's minimum limit to ensure the domestic demand while its export fulfilled 136 percent of the full year's plan and surged 29 percent year-on-year.
In 2010, Petrolimex plans to equities and restructure its operation model. The deadline for the corporation to carry out the corporate value appraisal was January 1, 2010.
