Vietnam to stop used gas cylinder imports
26-AUG-2008 Intellasia | Thanhniennews
Aug 26, 2008 - 7:00:00 AM
Deputy prime minister Hoang Trung Hai has asked the Ministry of Industry and Trade to stop customs processing batches of imported used gas cylinders that are shipped to Vietnam after September 30, 2008.

Hai made the requirement after prime minister Nguyen Tan Dung's temporarily stopped the import of the cylinders.

The deputy PM asked the customs agencies to clear batches of imported used gas cylinders which have already arrived in ports but not been through customs after they were tested by the Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
