The Asian Youth games, being held for the first time in Singapore, is a competition for athletes aged 14 to 17 and involves teams from across Asia.
The games started on Monday with an opening cermony held at Singapore's national stadium despite the H1N1 flu having affected players from two youth soccer teams already. (Reuters)
