* Construction Joint Stock Co No 6 (Vinaconex 6-VC6)’s annual shareholders’ meeting recently passed the plan to offer one million more shares to hike the chartered capital to 50 billion dong from the current of 40 billion dong.
* Song Da 6.04 Joint Stock Co (coded S64)’s shareholders’ meeting recently passed the plan to increase its chartered capital from 20 billion to 45 billion dong through issuing 2.5 million shares.
* Binh Dinh Mineral Joint Stock Co (coded BMC) recently posted gaining over 33.2 billion dong in revenue and over 11.8 billion dong from after tax profit in the first quarter of 2008.
* Vinh Son-Song Hinh Hydropower Joint Stock Co (coded VSH) recently posted gaining over 144.9 billion dong in revenue and over 102 billion dong from after tax profit in the first quarter of 2008.
* Song Da Development and Investment Joint Stock Co (coded SIC) recently posted gaining over 92.7 billion dong in revenue and over 15 billion dong from after tax profit in 2007.
* Song Da 6 Joint Stock Co (coded SD6) recently posted gaining over 460 billion dong in revenue and over 26.4 billion dong from after tax profit in 2007.
* Song Da 19 Joint Stock Co (coded SJM) recently posted gaining over 44.4 billion dong in revenue and over 1.9 billion dong from after tax profit in 2007.
* Thang Long Joint Stock Co (coded VTL) recently posted gaining over 87.3 billion dong in revenue and over 6.2 billion dong from after tax profit in 2007.
* Eden Joint Stock Co recently passed the plan to pay a 2007 dividend of 25% in cash to the shareholders after reporting gaining about 16.5 billion dong in after-tax profit on the chartered capital of 52 billion dong. In 2008, the company targets to earn 27 billion dong in pre-tax profit and 80 billion dong in chartered capital.
* Vietnam Airlines Corp recently reported that up to March 31, its revenue grew by 16.8% against the same period of 2007 to 5.932 trillion dong, accounting for 25.84% of the year’s plan, of which Vietnam Airlines contributed nearly 5.902 trillion dong and Vasco with over 32 billion dong.
* Saigon Beverage Shareholding Co (Tribeco) announced that it is building the Phu Vinh high class apartments at No 108/24 Tran Quang Dieu St, HCM City’s Dist 3 with a total space of 23,000 square metres and total investment capital of US$30 million.
* Maritime Bank recently announced that from now to May 30, it would issue certificate of deposits (C/Ds) in both US dollar and euro with a total value of US$30 million and five million euro.
* Great Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (DaiAbank)’s shareholders’ meeting held on April 19 passed the plan to double its chartered capital from the current of 500 billion dong to one trillion dong via offering 50 million shares.
* Under the plan passed by the Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank)’s shareholders’ meeting recently, Sacombank Group would make its debut in next month in HCM City with member companies including securities company, real estate arm, financial leasing firm and card joint venture company.
