Amersham Industries lowers holding in local telco

Jul 25, 2008 - 7:00:00 AM Listed firm Cable and Telecom Material Joint Stock Co (coded SAM) reported its foreign shareholder Amersham Industries Limited sold 750,490 among 4,201,651 SAM coded shares between July 8 and 16, 2008, reducing its size in the local firm from 6.42% down to 5.28%.

Earlier, from June 26 to July 7, the foreign investor sold another 897,000 SAM coded shares among the holding of 5,098,651 shares or 7.8% stake in Cable and Telecom Material Joint Stock Co.

Reportedly, in the first quarter of this year, SAM gained 782.9 billion dong in net revenue from sales and service provision, up 69.08 billion dong or 9.67% year-on-year, and the after-tax profit of 48.02 billion dong, a dip of 0.58 billion dong or 1.19% yoy.

Yesterday 7,670 SAM coded shares were traded at 24,600 dong per share, a decline of 700 dong from the previous session.
