VNECO 1 lists on Hanoi bourse at 16,300 dong/unit

Hanoi Securities Trading Centre (HASTC) on September 4 officially welcomed three million VE1 coded shares of VNECO 1 Power Construction Joint Stock Co, bringing the total number of share codes on the bourse to 148.
Ending the transaction session on Thursday, the highest matching order price of VE1 reached 35,000 dong per share, the lowest at 14,000 dong, leading to the average price of 16,300 dong per share with total 160,600 shares changing hands.
Da Nang based VNECO 1 Power Construction JSC has a chartered capital of 30 billion dong, of which the state holds 28.08%.
Former Power Construction Facility under Power Installation and Construction Co No 3 was equitised in 2005 with the initial chartered capital of 5.5 billion dong.
Last year the company gained 86.227 billion dong of total output value, 40.105 billion dong revenue and 4.32 billion dong in after-tax profit.
In 2008, VNECO 1 targets to earn 90 billion dong of total output value, 42 billion dong revenue, 10 billion dong from business profit, pay three billion dong in taxes and a dividend of 24%.
Previously, the northern bourse also received the listing of 5.2 million KKC coded shares of Metallic Production and Trading Joint Stock Co.
Ending the session of September 4, HASTC Index continued rising by 0.57 pts slightly to close at 194.87 pts.
