Dong Nai paint producer to list extra 209,641 shares from October 8

The Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (STC) recently announced that it would list additional 209,641 ordinary shares at 10,000 dong par worth over 2.096 billion dong of Dong Nai Paint Joint Stock Co (coded SDN) on the southern bourse from October 8.

These shares are to pay 2007 dividend at the ratio of 100:18.4 (shareholders holding 100 shares will receive 18.4 new shares).

In the second quarter of the year, SDN reported gaining 14.698 billion dong in net revenue from sales and service provision, rising 31.66% or 3.534 billion dong yoy and 899.379 million dong in after tax profit, up 10.19% or 83.144 million dong from 2007, bringing the respective figures during the first half to 28.727 billion dong, a year-on-year increase of 31.74% or 6.921 billion dong and 1.539 billion dong, a 10.34% increase from last year.

Yesterday SDN-coded shares closed at 24,800 dong per share, down 1,000 dong per share or 3.88% with 200 shares being changed hands.
