Credit Suisse sells 41,500 VIS coded shares

Viet-Italy Steel Joint Stock Co (coded VIS) announced that its foreign shareholder Credit Suisse Hong Kong Ltd sold 41,500 VIS coded shares on October 6, 2008.

After the transaction, Credit Suisse's holding in the steel maker is down from 5.20% or 779,420 shares to 4.92% or 737,920 shares.

According to the Q2 business report, VIS reached 480.6 billion dong of net revenue, 28.43 billion dong of after-tax profit and the EPS of 1,895 dong. The figures were raised to over 1.099 trillion dong, 39.14 billion dong and 2,610 dong during the first half of this year.

In 2008, the firm targets to earn a total revenue of 2.044 trillion dong, pre-tax profit of 22.589 billion dong, a dividend of 10% and steel sale of 172,500 tonnes.

Yesterday VIS fell by 1,100 dong down to 22,200 dong with 69,720 shares changing hands.
