TSC leads brokerage market share on HNX

Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) has recently announced top ten member securities companies holding biggest brokerage market share on the northern bourse on both securities and bond in 2009 whereby Thang Long Securities Joint Stock Co (TSC) continued the leading position on securities market share with 8.45 percent.

Following are Saigon Securities Inc (SSI) with 4.52 percent, Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB)'s Securities Co (ACBS) with 4.31 percent, Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank)'s Securities Co (SBS) with 4.18 percent, FPT Securities JSC (FPTS) 4.12 percent, HCM City Securities JSC (HSC) 3.76 percent, Hoang Gia (Royal) International Securities JSC (IRS) 3.27 percent, VNDirect Securities JSC (VNDS) 3.16 percent, Vietnam Commercial Joint Stock Bank for Foreign Trade (Vietcombank)'s Securities Co (VCBS) 3.15 percent and An Binh Securities JSC with 2.84 percent.

In Q4 alone, TSC also led the market with 10.7 percent and then SBS 4.32 percent, SSI 4.25 percent, FPTS 3.99 percent, IRS 3.69 percent and VCBS with 2.68 percent.

In terms of bond brokerage, in 2009, VCBS led the market 37.31 percent of market share, and followed by TSC with 12.73 percent, ACBS 8.22 percent, Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank)'s Securities Co (Agriseco) 8.16 percent, SBS 7.88 percent and Rong Viet (Viet Dragon) Securities JSC holds the lowest market share with 1.97 percent.

In Q4 alone, leading the market was VCBS with 40.39 percent and then SBS 16.63 percent, Agriseco 11.19 percent, BVSC 11.13 percent and SSI 5.76 percent.
