Sabeco beverage firm to advance 12pct dividend

Saigon Beer Alcohol Beverage Joint Stock Corp (Sabeco) has recently announced that the company will close the list of shareholders on February 22 to advance 12 percent dividend in cash for 2009.

Accordingly, the ex-interest date is on February 11.
The payment date is scheduled on March 1.

Reportedly, in 2009, Sabeco's industrial production value reached 5.165 trillion dong, fulfilling 103 percent of the year's target and up 17 percent against previous year's figure, 15.441 trillion dong of total revenue, exceeding 9 percent of the year's target and up 13 percent year-on-year.

The company's pre tax profit in 2009 was 1.479 trillion dong, achieving 102 percent of the year's plan and up 46 percent year-on-year.

For the year 2010, Sabeco targets to earn 16.512 trillion dong of revenue, a year-on-year increase of 56 percent and 3.062 trillion dong of profit after tax, or 78.5 percent against 2009's actualised figure.
