* State Securities Commission (SSC) has recently approved Song Da Infrastructure Construction Joint Stock Co (SDH) to issue ordinary shares to the public to hike chartered capital from nearly 52 billion dong to 209.5 billion dong.

* Hung Yen Trading Tourism Joint Stock Co has opened a centre for vehicle driving training and test in Kon Tum Province with initial scale of 1,000 students. The centre is expected to provide training for 5,000 persons each year.
* PetroVietnam Technical Service Joint Stock Corporation (PTSC) has signed an EPCI (Engineering- Procurement -Construction- Installation) contract worth $57 million with Dai Hung Oil-and Gas Co under Petro Vietnam Exploration Production Corporation. The contract includes detailed engineering, construction design, procurement for equipments and materials, loading and transportation of equipments, installation, and testing.
* Hoan MyThao Dien international medical centre was put into operation in HCM City's District 2 on Monday. The centre serves obstetrical scans, biochemical tests, and endoscopies.
* Saigon Agriculture Inc has launched a 21-billion dong biogas-fueled power project into operation at Phuoc Long Pig Breeding Farm in HCM City's Cu Chi Dist. The power plant includes four generators with output of 640,000 kilowatts per year.
* Hanoi Sports and Entertainment Service Investment Joint Stock Co broke ground for the Soc Son international golf course and entertainment area project in Hanoi's Soc Son Dist on March 9. * During the first two months of this year, Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank or Sacombank (STB) reached 300 billion dong in pre-tax profit excluding combined profit from member companies, a year-on-year rise of 35 percent.
* Sacombank, Baoviet and ACB have connected their ATM systems into the Smartlink network to provide better ATM convenience for cardholders. The Smartlink system has around 5,500 ATMs and 25,000 points of sales.
