HCM City Securities Joint Stock Co (HSC) expects that additional 120 firms will list shares for the first time on Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (STC). Among those candidates preparing for listing shares on stock markets, there are more share-codes to be posted on southern floor. This good signal showed that more and more enterprises with large capital planned to list shares to public.

In 2009, there were 135 new firms to officially list shares on the market, in which 11 codes had changed floor from STC to HNX and one code vice versa with total capitalised value of 149.208 trillion dong, equal to $8.76 billion.

This year, the market anticipated for five large initial public offerings (IPOs) of large state-owned enterprises of Bidv, MobiFone, Viettel, Agribank and Dung Quat Oil Refinery.
