* Saigon Securities Inc (coded SSI) has recently announced to close the list of shareholders on March 26 to pay bonus shares at the ratio of 1:1 and organise annual shareholders' meeting.

* Northern bourse-listed Thang Long Wine Joint Stock Co (coded VTL) announced March 26 would be the registration deadline for shareholders for paying 2009 dividend and holding annual shareholders meeting.

* Song Da Corp will withdraw its contributed capital from Song Da 8 Joint Stock Co from March 18, Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) yesterday announced.

* Vietnam Import Export and Construction Joint Stock Corp (coded VCG) has passed a plan to offer corporate bonds worth at maximum total two trillion dong.

* Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC)-listed Go Dang Joint Stock Co (coded AGD)'s director board has recently decided to issue four million bonus shares from the company's capital surplus and pay dividend in shares to shareholders.

* Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX)-listed Nghe An Oil and Gas Construction Joint Stock Corp (coded-PVA)'s board of directors recently has agreed a plan to issue shares to strategic shareholders in 2010 and distribution plan of profit for 2009.

* HNX-listed Tan Ky Construction and Real Estate Joint Stock Co (coded TKC)'s annual shareholders' meeting has recently announced to pay 20 percent dividend in shares for 2009.

* The northern bourse-listed PetroVietnam Southern Gas Joint Stock Co (PV Gas South – coded PGS)'s director board on March 12 proposed the annual shareholders' meeting a plan to raise 2009 dividend payment from 12 percent to 19 percent.

* Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) has announced that all 1.925 million shares of Song Da 19 Joint Stock Co have been successfully auctioned as planned on March 17 with initial offered price of 12,300 dong per share.

* Pacific Property & Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Co (coded PPI) has submitted application profile for listing shares on Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC). The company was formerly known as Civil Engineering Construction Corp No 135 (Cienco 135).

* Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) announced to receive the document submitted by Saigon Maritime Holding Co (coded SHC) for delaying to pay 2008 second phase dividend.

* Hai Ha Confectionary Joint Stock Co (coded HHC) targeted to reach 2010 total revenue of 485 billion dong, up 5% year on year, and after tax profit of 18.75 billion dong, decreasing by 7% against that of 2009 at 20.3 billion dong.

* PetroVietnam Finance Investment and Consultancy Joint Stock Co (PVFC Invest) officially introduced Dien Bien PetroVietnam Mineral Investment Joint Stock Co (PMI) in Dien Bien City, Dien Bien province.

* Construction and Materials Trading Joint Stock Co (coded CNT) reported to earn net revenue of 778.6 billion dong in Q4 of 2009. The company's accumulative revenue in 2009 was estimated at 2.612 trillion dong, down 2.5 percent against the previous year.

* Posco, the largest steelmaker in Asia, plans to invest $200 million to expand its steel mill in Vietnam after talks to take over Thailand's Thainox Stainless Co stalled.

* PVFC Land Joint Stock Co has signed cooperation contract with the US-based Cushman & Wakefield Co Ltd in Hanoi.

* Vietnam General Export Import JSC (coded TH1) officially passed the business results of 2009 and the business plan for 2010.

* Thu Duc Export Import Trading Joint Stock Co (coded TMC) recently announced to organise annual shareholders’ meeting on March 27.

* Under the audited fiscal report of FPT Telecommunication Joint Stock Co (FPT Telecom), in 2009, the company gained 1.851 trillion dong of revenue, increasing 552 billion dong or 42.5% against 2008’s figure. The company’s revenue growth in 2008 was 50%.

* Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) announced on March 17 that the bank's pre-tax profit in the first two months of 2010 was estimated at over 316 billion dong, equal to 20 percent of the year plan.

* Hong Ha Petroleum Joint Stock Co (coded PHH) announced to issue 100 corporate bonds at par value of 1 billion dong with total bond value of 100 billion dong.

* Khalid Bin Mohamad Al-Attiya, Qatar's minister of state for international cooperation and acting minister of business and trade held discussions with leaders of Vietnam Bank of Industry and Trade (Vietinbank) on March 15, 2010 and discussed about establishing a joint venture bank in Vietnam.

* HCM City Housing Development Commercial Joint Stock Bank (HDBank) has decided to increase the interest rates on US dollar deposits in the bank's network by 0.1 percent- 0.45 percent per year, starting from March 17, 2010.

* Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Maritime Bank) cooperated with Ernst & Young Vietnam Co Ltd on March 17 in holding a session to introduce the new internal credit ranking system.
