* Sao Vang Rubber Joint Stock Co (STC listed SRC) will organise the shareholder meeting on March 23 to seek approval to allocate 2009 dividend in shares with a ratio 2:1 to raise its charter capital from 108 billion dong to 162 billion dong, announced the general director Nguyen Cong An.

* Ngo Han Joint Stock Co (NHW) reported that in first two months, it reached 174.3 billion dong in net revenue and 11.94 billion dong in after-tax profit against the loss of 25 billion dong of same period of 2009.

* Orient Bio-Fuels Co Ltd (OBF), Japan based ITOCHU Group, PV Oil and Licogi 16 Joint Stock Co last Saturday started work on ethanol factory in Minh Hung Commune, Bu Dang Dist of Binh Phuoc province.

* Duc Thanh Wood Joint Stock Co (coded GDT) plans to hold annual shareholders' meeting to pass this year's business plan with nearly 196 billion dong of revenue, up 12 percent year-on-year and 38 billion dong of profit, according to Le Hai Lieu, the company's general director.

* Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC)-listed Na Ri Hamico Minerals Joint Stock Corp (coded KSS) has recently got approval from People's Committee of northern mountainous province of Cao Bang to invest in a project to exploit bauxite ore in Cao Bang province.

* Hoa Phat cement plant, under Hoa Phat Group Joint StockCo (coded HPG) produced the first batch of cement on March 18, after three years of construction.

* Viglacera Dong Trieu Joint Stock Co (coded DTC) held annual shareholders meeting on March 17, 2010. The company planned to spend 22.75 percent of total after tax profit in 2009 worth 4.25 billion dong to set up investment development fund.

* Cement Finance Co (CFC) has recently approved 800 billion dong loan for Ha Tien 1 Cement Joint Stock Co (coded HT1) and 30 distributors. The loan was approved at a seminar on official distributors of HT1 held on March 16 in HCM City.

* Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) announced to receive application profile for listing 15 million shares of Dana – Italy Steel Joint Stock Co on March 19, 2010.

* The northern bourse-listed Thanh Hoa Beer Joint Stock Co (coded THB) announced its plan to reach 2010 total revenue of 597.8 billion dong and profit after tax of 22.87 billion dong. The company's expected dividend payment in 2010 would be 12 percent.

* From March 26, Viettel and VinaPhone will officially distribute iPhone products to Vietnam market. According to Viettel, in the short term, Viettel will supply three types including iPhone 3G-8G, iPhone 3GS-16GB and iPhone 3GS-32GB at Viettel's 28 supermarkets nationwide with warranty of 12 months.

* Dong Phu Rubber Joint Stock Co (coded DPR) has recently released this year's business targets with over 700 billion dong of revenue and 200 billion dong profit. In 2009, the company's pre tax profit was 220 billion dong.

* Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) issued document No 194/TB-SGDCKHN on March 18, 2010 approving in principle for PetroVietnam Power Land Joint Stock Co to list 50 million shares on the northern bourse. The company has chartered capital of 500 billion dong, in which domestic corporate shareholders owned 59.76 percent and individual ones of 40.24 percent.

* Shareholders of Viglacera Tien Son Joint Stock Co (coded VIT) approved for issuing additional 5.4 million shares in order to increase chartered capital to 99 billion dong. The newly issued shares would be listed on Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).

* HCM City Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Co (coded CII) announced to offload 670,430 shares of HCM City Securities Joint Stock Co (coded HCM). As planned, CII withdrew capital successfully in HCM City Securities JSC. The transactions finished on March 19, 2010.

* Saigon Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SCB) yesterday officially announced the establishment of SCB Debt and Asset Management One Member Ltd Co (SCBA) with an initial charter capital of 200 billion dong.
