* Electronics Communication Technology Investment Development Joint Stock Co (Elcom) announced Sep 10 would be the registration deadline to close the shareholders list for offering 7.175 million shares.
* Wall Street Securities JSC (WSS) has got in principle approval for offering 56.7 million shares at par to the existing shareholders and the company's employees at 1:1.5 ratio
* Vietnam Leather & Footwear Association (Lefaso) reported that the country's total leather and shoe export turnover in August continued maintaining high growth rate at over $450 million, raising the accumulative export turnover in the whole industry to $3.221 billion, a year-on-year increase of 19 percent.
* The northern bourse-listed DIC Dong Tien Joint Stock Co (coded DID) announced that in the first eight months of this year, the company estimated to gain pre-tax profit of 10.5 billion dong, surpassing 140 percent against the year plan.
