No import duty on goods used as fixed assets

Official letter dated March 10 by the General Department of Customs regulates such goods as machineries, equipments, transport vehicles imported to create fixed assets will be exempted from import duties and value added tax (VAT) if the aforementioned goods are entitled to preferential incentives approved by authorised agencies and registered with customs agencies.
