Southern bourse-listed North Kinh Do Food Processing Joint Stock Co (coded NKD) shareholders’ extraordinary meeting on October 21 passed a plan to increase 2009 profit plan by 40 billion dong against previous target and offer over 2.827 million shares to hike chartered capital to 151.24 billion dong. Of which, NKD will issue 2.45 million shares to pay dividend at the ratio of 10:2.
During the first nine months this year, NKD earned 502 billion dong in revenue and 74.7 billion dong of pre tax profit. Thanks to satisfactory business results, the company decided to increase this year’s profit plan from 60 billion dong to 100 billion dong.
To 2012, the company strives to reach the figure of 1.5 trillion dong in revenue and 150 billion dong in pre tax profit.
In addition, the shareholders’ meeting also agreed to sell 36,800 preferable shares to the company’s director board and 332,054 shares to the company’s staff. The offering price will be 15,000 dong/share.
