The Novotel Garden Plaza Saigon has opened 55 new guestrooms including seven suites as part of a US$3 million revamp of the four-star hotel in HCM City’s Tan Binh District.
Dang Dinh Quoc Bao, general manager of Garden Plaza Co Ltd, says the additions took more than a year to complete.
The new Orchid Club rooms are equipped with satellite television, “stylish” furniture and broadband internet connection.
And until September, guests only pay from US$69 for one night in a Superior Club Deluxe room, a rate the hotel describes as well below normal.
At no extra charge, they get breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails in the BIZ Lounge, use of a private meeting room for four hours, one hour on the internet, and use of the gym and swimming pool.
Furthermore, they can check out as late as 4 p.m. instead of noon. Lionel Moinard, the hotel’s general manager, is confident the new rooms will draw more guests.
