Officials plug investment scope in Germany

A Vietnamese delegation headed by Lai Quang Thuc, vice minister of planning and investment, visited Germany from June 15-26 to promote bilateral trade and investment. The delegation met representatives of commercial agencies and organisations, research institutes and businessmen in many states and cities of Germany to introduce business and investment opportunities in Vietnam and seek possible fields and projects of cooperation with Germany.

A workshop on ‘information about Vietnam’ was also organised by the delegation in coordination with trade officials and advisors in Koblenz city Germany. A German-dubbed film titled ‘Vietnam-destination of foreign investment’ jointly produced by Vietnam’s Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) and the German government was also shown for the first time at this workshop.
