Oxiana reports SA, Laos drilling success

Shares in Oxiana Ltd edged higher after drilling success at its projects in Laos and South Australia.
Recent drilling at Sepon in Laos discovered high-grade copper mineralisation over 1.5 kilometres at the Thengkham North prospect.
Better intercepts include 20 metres at 20.1% copper, nine metres at 19.22% and 22 metres at 4%.
At Prominent Hill in South Australia, a recent hole drilled to follow up a significant gold-only intercept in the western part of the copper-gold deposit intersected two intervals of similar gold-only mineralisation, reporting 31 metres at 11.1 grams per tonne gold, followed by 19 metres at 11.7 grams per tonne.
Oxiana shares were three cents stronger at 98 cents by 1210 AEST on Wednesday.
