Pacific Airlines offers cut-price fares

Vietnam’s sole budget carrier Pacific Airlines will offer 100,000 low-cost and super-cheap tickets starting today on some existing and proposed domestic routes.

The tickets, to be sold in stages until May 31, 2008, will cost from 15,000 dong (90 US cents) one-way to one-half of the normal fare.

The promotion will apply to the existing routes from HCM City (HCM City) to Hanoi, Da Nang, and Nha Trang, and proposed routes from HCM City to Hue, Hai Phong, and Vinh.

Tickets costing 15,000 dong and 150,000 can only be bought online at www.pacificairlines.com.vn, while tickets costing 350,000-750,000 dong can also be bought at the airline’s offices.
