Party cardholders allowed to do business

Yomuri newspaper on April 2 reported that Vietnam’s Communist Party has decided to allow party members of private firms to continue holding their party membership during the recent meeting of the Fifth Central Party Executive Committee.

It also means that the Party has rescinded its previous stance of barring cardholders from running a private business.
