Penalties against goods without invoices

Businesses must have invoices, vouchers to prove that the origin of the goods is legal. Under an official letter issued June 7 by the Ministry of Finance, if businesses cannot prove the legal origin of the goods, they will be levied value added tax, corporate income tax arrears and the business administratively penalised from one to five times of the amount of the tax violation.
