PetroVietnam targets 329tr dong revenue in 2010
Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam -PVN) has recently released business plan for 2010 with 35-40 million tonnes of oil exploitation, 23 million tonnes of gas, 740,000 tonnes of urea fertiliser, 10.05 billion KWh power and 5.55 million tonnes of Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and 329 trillion dong of revenue.
Ending 2009, PVN’s oil exploitation exceeded 2.8 percent against the year’s plan of 15.86 million tonnes, gas exploitation surpassed 0.1 percent against the year’s plan of 8.0 billion cubic metres, fertiliser production exceeded 2.0 percent compared to the year’s target of 740,000 tonnes.
PVN’s industrial production value reached 43.22 trillion dong, or 121 percent of the year’s plan and increasing 24 percent against previous year, total revenue of 265.02 trillion dong, or 125 percent of the year’s figure and equalling to 16 percent of the country’s GDP, 91.05 trillion dong of tax payment or 148 percent of the year’s plan and equalling to 24 percent of the country’s total budgetary collection, export turnover of $7.82 billion, accounting for 134 percent of the year’s plan and equalling to 14 percent of the country’s total export turnover.
During last year, PVN put 10 projects into operation, started construction for 14 new projects.
In 2009, PVN’s actualised investment value reached over 66 trillion dong or 84.4 percent of the year’s plan and disbursement value posted over 64 trillion dong or 91 percent of the year’s target.
