Plastics producers gain overseas markets

Vietnamese plastic companies have launched 15 projects abroad with total investment of nearly US$20 million, in which four projects are in Russia and Ukraine and two in the US, according to HCM City Plastics Association. Reportedly, Vietnamese plastic products are gradually gaining a standing in Europe, Asia, and recently Africa and the US. Key plastic export items from Vietnam are plastic footwear, bags, containers, home appliances, and industrial products.
