Pomihoa Steel Co Ltd has lately submitted application for withdrawing from Kyoei Vietnam Steel Co Ltd, a joint venture between Japan’s Kyoei Steel Group and Pomihoa Steel Co Ltd for building the new steel mill in Ninh Binh province.

The project was expected to be converted into 100 percent foreign-invested project for Kyoei Steel Group by June 15, 2012.

Bui Van Nam, representative of Ninh Binh province’s functional authority stated that despite changes in investment form, the local authority would still continue support the investor to conduct the project by creating favourable conditions for the investor.
