Preferential lending interest for fertiliser imports
The Vietnam Fertiliser Association on September 28 proposed the prime minister instruct commercial banks to give preferential loans for fertiliser importers and to increase amount of foreign currency loans because of high increase in fertiliser prices.
The association also suggested the Ministry of Finance consider reducing VAT for fertilisers to 0% from 5%.
