Prizes in cash or kind applied PIT

Under the recent instruction of the Ministry of Finance, if a person has won any prizes (in cash or in kind) from business promotion programmes, which are considered as his or her income when the person has bought any goods or products and others, the income will have to be applied irregular personal income tax (PIT) under the current regulations of the ordinance on high income earners.
