Prudential clears name confusion over US Prudential Financial Inc penalty

A letter denoting the difference between Prudential Financial Inc of United States and Prudential Plc of England was sent by vice director of Prudential Vietnam, Nguyen Van Hao in a bid to alleviate concerns by Prudential Plc’s customers over a US$600 million penalty against the US corporate.
The letter said some international news agencies including Reuters, AFP and Bloomberg have recently informed of US$600 million penalty against Prudential Financial Inc due to alleged fraudulent transactions in stocks of mutual funds by some of brokers.
