PVI earns 561b dong from selling shares for foreign partners

PetroVietnam Insurance Joint Stock Corp (coded PVI) has recently reported the share transaction results of its foreign investors.

Accordingly, HDI – Gerling Industrie Versicherung AG Co has successfully bought nearly 21.3 million PVI-coded shares by issuing in odd lot. After transactions, this organisation holds 74.53 million PVI shares, equalling to 31.82 percent of PVI’s chartered capital. PVI earned total nearly 561 billion dong from this share sale.

After the transactions, PVI’s majority shareholder structure includes Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam-PVN) with 83,149,740 shares or 35.5 percent stake, HDI – Gerling Industrie Versicherung AG with 74,531,503 shares (31.82 percent stake), Funderburke Lighthouse Limited with 22,889,900 shares (9.77%), PetroVietnam Finance Joint Stock Corp (PVFC) with 14,593,243 shares (6.23%), Red River Holdings with 5.832 million shares (2.49%), Temasia Capital Limited with 3,347,568 shares (1.43%) and other shareholders with 29,489,813 shares or 12.59 percent stake.

Reportedly, Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) has recently allowed PVI to list these additional 21,294,715 shares on the northern bourse.
