Que Huong-Liberty targets 116.25b dong profit in 2012
Que Huong-Liberty Joint Stock Co (The Liberty) on June 29 organised its annual general meeting (AGM) and reported its performance for 2011 with after tax profit at 105.2 billion dong, exceeding 32 percent of the year’s target and return on equity (ROE) at 16%.
The company advanced 2011 dividend at 19 percent in cash.
In 2012, The Liberty targets to reach 116.25 billion dong profit.
Reportedly, since 2008 so far, The Liberty has continuously gained more than 80 billion dong profit yearly.
In its revenue structure, over 40 percent was revenue from room rentals. In 2011, this segment made up 44 percent to the company’s total revenue.
According to the company’s fiscal statement in 2011, its equity was 1.548 trillion dong, equalling to 72 percent of the total assets. In its equity, share capital surplus accounted for 819.8 billion dong, or 53.4%.
Currently, at The Liberty, the state capital accounts for 14.4 percent of its chartered capital, director board makes up 12.6 percent stake and other individuals and institutions contribute 71.1 percent stake.
Presently, share of The Liberty is being traded on OTC at the price of from 18,000 dong/share to 19,500 dong each.
Established in 1985 and equitised in 2004, the company now has six hotels with 353 rooms, two restaurants of Van Canh and A Dong. In addition, the company also owns Thanh The Plaza trade centre and Madagui tourism area in Lam Dong.
