Rules on exhaust standards for vehicles

Deputy prime minister Pham Gia Khiem signed a decision governing the itinerary of applying exhaust standards to road transportation vehicles. The regulation is aimed at limiting the increase of air pollution, step-by-step improving the quality of air environment in general and urban air environment in particular.
The exhaust fume standard will be applied in accordance with the exhaust emission standard of European Union.
