S-Fone launches information on demand service
CDMA mobile service provider S-Fone, in cooperation with VASC Software and Media Co, a subsidiary of Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corp (VNPT), has kicked off information on demand (IOD) service for its subscribers.
S-Fone subscribers can use services of 996, 997, 998, 8799 switchboards, excluding those relating to logo, MMS, image and ring tone, and join television and radio entertainment programmes in coordination with 19001255,19001522, 19001799,19001761 switchboards.
Using this service, S-Fone customers can search for information about air, train and bus schedules, exchange rates, gold prices and weather forecasts, among others, use mobile banking service in cooperation with the Asia Commercial Bank (ACB), such as checking account balances, making payments and transferring money.
S-Fone customers can participate in television and radio entertainment programmes by calling or sending messages to 19001255, 19001522, 19001799, and 19001761.
Particularly, updates about sports like football schedules and results are available during the World Cup season. In June and July, besides World Cup broadcasts on TV, S-Fone subscribers can join programmes like predicting the results of World Cup matches to win attractive prizes.
The fee for the operator supplied service is 1,000-1,500 dong per minute while the, SMS service fee is 500-2,000 dong and via8399, 8499, 8599 SMS services, the fee is 3,000, 4,000 and 5,000 dong respectively. The weekly 8799 package is 15,000 dong.
Do Van Quat, S-Fone sales and marketing director, said that cooperating with VASC, S-Fone wanted to bring customers greater conveniences and content services.
