S. Korean firms account for over 10% of exports

Exports by South Korean companies operating in Vietnam accounted for more than 10% of the country’s total exports last year, the local branch of a South Korean trade promotion agency said on August 10.

Exports by 668 South Korean firms in Vietnam came to US$2.3 billion in 2003, 11.6% of the country’s total exports of $20.2 billion, the Hanoi office of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (Kotra) said.
