Sacombank earmarks 2tr dong to lend at 13pct/yr

From July 10, Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank-STB) has started to launch a preferential lending package in dong and US dollar for corporate customers.

Accordingly, Sacombank will set aside of two trillion dong worth of soft new loans for corporate customers at the lending interest rate of 13 percent per year.

In addition, the lender also launched a preferential credit package worth $50 million for corporate customers operating in sectors such as export and import with the lending interest rate at 4.5 percent per year.
