Samsung Vina denies phone technology transfer deal

On July 12, Samsung Vina Electronics sent letters to a number of agencies to deny the rumour that one project in Hoa Khanh Industrial Zone by Hue-Da Nang Service Centre had purchased the technologies from Nokia, Samsung, Motorola and Siemens to produce mobile phones under those brand names and models for the domestic market. The South Korea joint venture has made clear that so far it has not signed any technology transfer or supply with Vietnamese firms and Samsung Vina does not have any relations with that project.
