Samsung Vina launches Galaxy S III smartphone

Samsung Vina Electronics Co., on Monday launched the Galaxy S III, which comes with a bigger screen and a host of new software features, including voice control and direct call, the company said at a press meeting in HCM City.

The phone features a large 4.8 inch Super AMOLED screen and Google Android 4.0 operating system. The Galaxy S III also has a 1.4 GHz Exynos 4 Quad processor, up to 64GB of storage, an 8MP rear camera and 1.9MP front-facing camera.

Samsung GALAXY S III will be available on the market on May 31 at the retail price of VND15.9 million.

During its launch, Samsung will hold a series of appealing programmes for customers including a VND5 million voucher for the first customers owning Galaxy S III in Vietnam. This voucher can be used to buy Samsung Mobile’s products at Samsung’s stores in HCM City and Viettel supermarket chain in Hanoi.
