Sanyo to build digital camera plant
Japan’s Sanyo Electronics, a leading digital camera maker, said it would invest US$30 million in the construction of a production plant for low-priced digital cameras in south Vietnam. The plant should begin operation in May 2005, producing 1.2 million units in the first year of operation.
