SBV fines 85 violations in monetary sector

During the first six months this year, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV)’s HCM City branch has fined 85 violations in the monetary sector.

In particularly, the central bank in collaboration with Market Management Department found 39 violations of listing the prices of goods and services in foreign currencies with a total penalty of 975 million dong. Of which, five cases buying foreign currencies was different from the quoted forex rate.

Some commercial banks and enterprises have been also sanctioned for violating the regulations on management of foreign exchange for the loan, repayment of foreign debts.
