SCB offers preference for depositors

From July 4, 2011, Saigon Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SCB) launched the programme of “Uu dai danh cho khach ban USD/Vang de gui VND tai SCB” (more preferences for customers who sell their US dollars or gold and deposit their savings in dong at SCB).

Accordingly, when the customers have demand for selling gold and deposit their savings in dong at SCB with terms of over one month, SCB accepts to buy the gold at price that is 0.2-0.6 percent higher than the current listed shares. For US dollar, the applied ratio will be 0.1-0.3 percent higher.

In addition, 2,000 first customers who participate in the programme will be offered valuable gifts worth 0.2 percent of the total amount of US dollars that the customers sell to the bank.
