SDY: Net Loss Falls to 867.5m dong in Q2/2012, Down 83.5pct YoY

Song Da Yaly Cement JSC. (SDY) posted VND867.52 million net loss in the second quarter of 2012, down 83.5 percent on year. The firm said in its financial statement sent to HNX’s website on July 26.

The firm’s revenues reached VND46.3 billion in Q2/2012, down 40 percent from a year ago with VND77.3 billion.

Of note, the firm’s financial expenses fell by 39 percent on year to VND1.67 billion in Q2/2012 while its financial revenues almost unchanged, the data showed.

The company’s management costs also dropped by 33 percent on year to VND1.88 billion in the quarter.

The company had total VND157.6 billion assets by end of Q2/2012, versus VND147.1 billion at the beginning of the year.

The firm’s EPS was – VND193/share in Q2/2012 from – VND1.168/share in Q2/2011.

In H1/2012, the firm incurred VND3.4 billion net loss on VND94.2 billion revenues, compared with VND5.3 billion net loss on VND133.9 billion revenues in H1/2011.
