Searefico sets 40pct 2009 dividend

STC-listed Seaprodex Refrigeration Industry Joint Stock Co (coded SRF) held its annual shareholders meeting on April 21, in which the company’s shareholders approved the 2010 business plan of gaining total revenue of 446 billion dong, pre-tax profit of 50 billion dong, and dividend of 25 percent at least.

This year, Searifico expects to gain 23 billion dong of selling land plot in Da Nang City. The company will finish all the legal procedures to establish a new subsidiary under the basic of operation of Searee (Da Nang) and M&E (HCM City). At present, the company is seeking for partners to carry out construction project of a trade centre and a residential quarter on the HCM City-based land plot of 127 AN Duong Vuong St.

SRF’s management board sought for shareholders’ approval in offering 130,000 preferential shares for current employees at par value.

In 2009, the company reported gaining total revenue of 398 billion dong, surpassing 18.8 percent of the year plan, and pre-tax profit of 51.63 billion dong, a year-on-year increase of 130 percent. In 2009, Searefico planned to pay 2009 dividend at 40 percent, in which the company had advanced dividend of 15 percent previously.
