Seminar on banking software solutions held

Banking information, experiences, new technology of the global banking world, all-sided software solutions for the banking are topics of a workshop on “Financial and banking solutions” held by the State Bank of Vietnam and the US-based giant computer producer IBM in Hanoi on September 8.

The workshop is help local banks providing banking services at the possible lowest costs. At present, many banks are inclining to transform bank branches and considered it the first step in the master plan of transforming banking services provision. Thus, the software solution on transforming of banking branch activities offered by the IBM allows retailing banks to lower costs and promote revenues through cutting writing procedures and turning bank branches into financial centres.

The backend software on transformation of pivotal banking systems is designed to help retail banks improve market feedback. Other backend software solutions were introduced to facilitate banks in developing relationships between banks and their customers and decreasing management expenses for customer services.

Another software solution on wholesaling payment of banks is to decrease costs of maintenance and expenses on customer services. This solution is to facilitate rollover capital management of company customers, including payment of company customers and financial institutions, large payments, SWIFT-based payments among countries, management of cash and capital.
