Siemens opens new company

In order to expand business operations in Vietnam, the German corporation Siemens Beteiligungsverwaltung GmbH supplying electric equipment decided to set up a new company namely Siemens Co. Ltd., with total legal capital of US$500,000 in HCM City.

The new company with a life span of 30 years is established to provide technical services and solutions related to Siemens’ systems and products in fields of energy, industry, transport and products of medical and lighting equipment, home appliances, equipment and solutions of information and technology, automatic and controlled equipment.

Siemens officially opened its representative office in HCM City in August 1993.
