Singapore’s Nodx grew 5.8pct yr-on-year in July
Singapore’s Non-oil Domestic Exports (Nodx) expanded by 5.8 per cent in July 2012 on a year-on-year basis, following the 6.6 per cent increase in the previous month, reported International Enterprise (IE) Singapore on Friday.
This is primarily due to the rise in both electronic and non-electronic Nodx.
On a month-on-month basis, Nodx decreased by 3.6 per cent in July 2012, in contrast to June’s 6.7 per cent expansion, due to
a decline in non-electronic Nodx which outweighed the growth in electronic Nodx.
Total trade grew by 2.9 per cent in July 2012 on a year-on-year basis, following the 2.7 per cent increase in June.
