Solid waste processing complex built in HCM City
HCM City Department of Natural Resources and Environment signed with Vietnam Solid Waste Processing Co a contract of solid waste processing on February 28. This is an important legal base for the company to carry out the project of building and operating a solid waste processing complex in Da Phuoc, Binh Chanh including a factory classifying and recycling solid waste with a capacity of 3,000 tonnes a day and a factory producing fertiliser from organic waste with total investment capital of US$90 million.
Vietnam solid waste processing company is the foreign wholly owned under California Waste Solutions Inc which specialises in solid waste processing managed by David Duong. Duong said the solid waste processing complex will start operation in early March 2007, helping to reduce solid waste levels in the city.
